Recycle Health was started in 2015 out of Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts with the mission to find trackers new homes with people who would benefit from their use but who would not normally be able to afford or seek to purchase one. We’ve collected over 9,000 trackers in that time. Our donated trackers come from individuals who have unwanted trackers, as well as from vendors, organizations, and workplace wellness programs.

In 2022 Recycle Health shifted its headquarters out of Tufts University and began operating as its own independent organization.  In 2023 it became an official 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
